Bowling in taipei

I thought the player with the least amounts of points wins....  I don't know if I should even name this blog post bowling... Danielle and Jeff bowled.. while I attempted to perfect my "gramma toss"

For a cheap price, you can hit up the bowling alley, according to Yelp there are at least 10 bowling alleys in Taipei.  You rent shoes just like in Canada, you pay per round, and you can put in custom names.

We went after school one day, and paid 70 NT to bowl two rounds.  You can get a student discount in you have show the worker a valid student card.  Before we started bowling, we played some arcade games for a cheap price of 10 NT; we played air-hockey and a “who’s the strongest”- (I lost at both….)   You can also play pool, but it’s more expensive than bowling LOL.

We put on our bowling shoes and started the first round. I felt like I was a kid again at a birthday party.  The COOL thing about this bowling alley is it’s open 24/7, and you’re allowed to bring food and drinks!  The bowling alley is pretty digital- however the scoring computer is a little out dated.

The night ended with me losing twice, Danielle getting two times my score (maybe 3x on the first round), and Jeff breaking 100.  Bowling is always fun, even if you lose.  Hey! It’s hard to win when you’re up against an old member of the Guelph youth bowling team.  The cost of my lost was buying the ice cream from McDonalds on the way home. (Secret: I just wanted ice cream)

But hey, if you ever feeling down and need some confidence, take me bowling, I'm sure you'll feel 100% better !

Updates: It's officially June!  The countdown for summer has begun!
