Bonjour,

So, you wanna know a little more about this blogger- (or this is just my excuse to add more pictures)

First off, if you didn't figure it out- my name is Emily- you can call me Em.  I was born in Toronto, Canada, and I went to Laurentian University where I graduated with a Bachelor of Arts; major in French Studies and minor in Geography, and then a Bachelor of Education (Primary, Junior, and Intermediate) with a French Teachable. While I was at Laurentian, I got the opportunity to study abroad in Grenoble, France.  While I was in Grenoble, I really got the travel bug; Dani and I travelled to over 15 countries- you can message me for the whole list. Some of my favourite countries were Ireland, Portugal, and Morocco; but I loved sipping on Sangria in Barcelona, running through the black sand in Greece and looking for Lock Ness Monster in Scotland.  Each country/province/city are so unique that you find something to appreciate and I hope that I can continue to discover new towns, make new memories, and cherish every day.

Dani and I decide to blog our adventures- (we tried last time but we had a few fallouts with technology) so, this time were committing 100%. This blog is really to show our friends and family that we are still alive- and to share some information and advice for future travellers, also maybe to connect travellers? We're pretty much open to anything.

A little more information about myself- I am a pretty outgoing, adventurous, and high-energy person. I like to always be busy; sometimes this causes me to over plan days and to have ways to many goals and things to do.  My main goal, this trip is to just go with the flow, to relax and leave some days to see where the adventure takes us.  This will be both difficult for Dani and me because we are such planners.  I think it's the teacher in us. I also wanna eat just about anything, go hiking, go scuba diving, go star gazing, visit temples, drink tea, and live like a local.

So, a little more about myself and travelling- I really started travelling when I was around 7 years old.  My parents bought a RV, and until I was out of high school, we would take 3 weeks in the summer to travel around Canada and the Eastern States of the US. I remember our first trip, we went to all of the Maritimes provinces- the East Coast does not get enough attention, the scenery and the SEAFOOD is just amazing. Anyways, my parents encouraged my brother and I to be adventurous- taking us biking, hiking, water skiing, and basically any outdoor activity.  I grew up doing a lot of physical activity- I played competitive hockey and went to an athletic program in high school.  I got a little lost in University with my physical activity but I'm hoping to get a gym membership in Taiwan and continue my healthy routine.

Alright, that seems like a little too much information... Oh well, I told you I like to talk.

Cheers,

Updates: It's officially June!  The countdown for summer has begun!
