Free Walking Tours in Taipei with Tour Me Away
Yes, I said the word “free”, the magic word, probably a traveler’s favourite word. ;) Danielle and I went to many free tours when we lived in Europe- however we thought it was just a European thing that it wouldn’t happen in Asia! I’m happy I was wrong. I found these tours through a website called couchsurfing.net- a community of travelers that rely on others for a place to stay but it also posts about local events going on!
So back to the tours- this company organizes walking tours- which help you learn more about the city and see all it has to offer. What was nice about this tour is it didn’t really feel like a tour- it felt more like a group of people walking and talking. They offer 5 different tours around the city of Taipei. I will keep updating this page until I go to ALL 5 of them.
